Most Alopecia Remedies Don't Work

If you are experiencing alopecia, a new review of existing research is offering little in the way of good news from the conventional medical front. According to review co-author Dr. Mike Sladden, a dermatologist and senior lecturer at the University of Tasmania in Australia, after examining 17 randomized controlled trials of treatments for alopecia areata, there is "no reliable, safe, effective, long-term treatment."
